Surprise 50th!

Other than our move to Italy, the main reason we visited H's family was for his parents' 50th anniversary. For the last year, two amazing sisters have been planning a surprise party for them. 

Everyone gathered at the Stake Center for the party.
   

   

  

Mom and Dad thought they were going to a luncheon for a friend.  Then they opened the doors to a room full of friends and family.  It was wonderful - they were completely surprised!   
   

They shared stories of how they met, their life together, and then renewed their vows.
  

   

 
   

Wolf was very excited throughout the whole presentation.

      

Then the 12 kids lined up and there were hugs all around. This is the first time in 12 years that all 12 kids were together.

This is a recreation of the picture taken 12 years ago when they were last together. 

Two very talented brothers performed for Mom and Dad's solo dance. Then we all joined in for one more song.

Then the pants came off and the party really began! Oh wait, that was just G!

     

 That's better.  He's dressed!  Then there was food, cake, and lots and lots of pictures.

There aren't words to describe what an amazing day it was.  I'm so grateful to have married into this family.
