New Bike!

The kids and I have not been visiting the park as much as we used to, but M's new bike was a good reason to go.

Normally our bike rides consist of L riding off way in the front with W following behind yelling at her to wait for him. Then M decides to get off of her trike so that I end up carrying it and trying to keep her moving in the proper direction. Every time we have to cross a street, L has to wait for a good 5 minutes while we catch up. The solution - M's new bike has straps!

I love it. Now it's like a stroller but her little legs pump along! I love it! And I can take the strap contraption off at the park so she can bike around like a little pro. Unfortunately we still ended up with L in the front, W yelling behind her, and M and myself at the back, but at least I wasn't carrying a tricycle.

Whenever we go to the park, L makes friends with whoever is there. If there aren't kids her age, she finds some sweet little child to take care of, or two...

Unfortunately, she ends up ignoring poor W who's left to play by himself. He has been branching out lately and playing with other kids, but there was no one there his age that day.

Thankfully, he's happy just hanging out by himself.

Little M had a tough morning at the park. She was convinced that there were bugs in her eyes.

I don't know if she got dirt or something in them, but the feeling didn't go away.

Then I noticed a bad rash on her arms.

We went straight home to load her up with medicine and I found it on her legs and belly too. I still don't know where she got it, but it took a few days to go away. The only new thing she was exposed to was her bike so I hope that's not it!
