We headed to Mt. Vernon for their fall festival. We started out with lunch at the Mt.Vernon Inn. It was really busy so we had a long wait to sit down for lunch. The two boys and I did some covert shopping in the gift shop for my mom while she stood in line FOREVER to get a ticket for herself.
Then we headed onto the grounds. Mom hit the tour of the house first while the kids and I enjoyed a horse drawn hay ride and played some colonial games.
We also roasted apples,
ran through a corn maze,
made corn husk dolls,
and checked out the animals.
Baby spent the day chilling out and/or screaming, which is pretty normal.
