Of course once it started, I was fine. I love watching them open their presents.
I love the looks on their faces when they get something they really, really wanted.
Or when it is something they weren't expecting.
I love watching the carnage grow and grow. I love that we always try to contain it by having garbage bags ready for all of the wrapping paper. It never works. Truth be told, our house still hasn't recovered 3 days later.
Baby slept through the whole thing. Why shouldn't he after being up all night with me? Blerg! Just as we were winding down, he started to stretch and wake up. His brother and sisters were more than happy to open his presents for him, including the Gryphon that is sharing the swing with him. Hee hee.
Then he sat contentedly in his new swing while H and I made breakfast.

I love that A was old enough to actually enjoy Christmas morning as much as we did this year. Looks like Santa was good to you all!
Haha I love those pillow-pets. Donald bought a ladybuy one for Grandma Van Ness and she's been loving it ever since we gave it to her. Honestly, I don't think there was a child this past Xmas who didn't get one of those. Cute pics. Thanks for sharing! Miss you.
