My Sister and my Nephew came to visit over Spring Break which always warrants a visit downtown.
We hit the carousel - a must,
the Smithsonian Castle,
and the American History Museum.
They have an amazing hands-on area.
Love it.
We also hit the American Indian Museum.
I love this building. I think the architecture is so beautiful.
We finished up with a Big Band Concert on the grass.
My kids were less interested in the band than in the grass
and running around.
It was a relaxing ending to a very full day.

if someone made me go to a big band conccert i'd probably be more interested in the grass too,(jk). ;)
