Because the weather was so beautiful, I took the kids to the zoo. It took FOREVER to get there. I accidentally drove us through downtown. With traffic, protests, and general not-knowing-where-I'm-going, it was a rough trip. But we made it - only to find no parking. Fabulous. After much circling and teeth grinding we made it in. Yea!
The kids spent more time climbing the statues than looking at the animals.
Which was fine with me. I just wanted to let them get out of the house.
L loved using her own camera to take pictures of everything.
We even found a statue of Daddy!
The heat quickly knocked the baby out. It was a good defense mechanism.
W really enjoyed the Invertebrate Exhibit.
G did too, although it might have been because he was out of his stroller and out of the sun.
